Ashgrove Group Practice

Dignity & Respect

To Our Patients,

As a patient of the Practice, you have the right to be treated with respect and dignity, and we are committed to ensuring that all our staff, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, are treated with the same respect and courtesy.

We believe that a positive and respectful environment is crucial for providing high-quality care and ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved. Therefore, we ask that you treat all our staff with the respect and consideration that you would expect from them.

This includes:

  • Using polite and respectful language.
  • Avoiding any form of abusive or discriminatory language.
  • Listening to and respecting the views of staff.
  • Not engaging in any behaviour that is intimidating or threatening.

We understand that you may have concerns or questions, and we encourage you to address these with our staff in a calm and respectful manner. We will do our best to address any concerns that you may have.

We also want to emphasize that any behaviour that is disrespectful, abusive, or intimidating will not be tolerated. We may need to take action against individuals who engage in such behaviour, which may include:

  • Refusing further treatment.
  • Recommending the patient to be assessed by a mental health professional.
  • Contacting the police if necessary.

We believe that by working together in a respectful and positive manner, we can provide the best possible care for all patients. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a respectful environment for everyone.

Sincerely,

Ashgrove Group Practice
