Our practice has been recognised as being of the excellent and high standard required for the training of young doctors and so we are a training practice associated with the University of Edinburgh. We normally have one or two GP Registrars within the Practice and Medical Students attend on a regular basis for up to 4 weeks at a time.
You are advised if a medical student is sitting in with one of the Doctors and do have the right to ask to see the doctor only.
As part of their training, the medical students have patient appointments – you will be advised when the appointment is offered to you of this – please note that one of the doctors supervises these appointments.
